Florida Media Labs is pleased to announce that Congressman Alan Grayson will deliver the keynote address to attendees of the Florida Health Care Summit Friday evening, February 16, 2018.

Florida Media Labs is a non-profit organization offering career skills to youth across the State of Florida, as well as the organizer of the Florida Health Care Summit.

The Florida Health Care Summit is uniting communities and their leaders from across the State of Florida to develop a road map to Universal Health Care based on this truth that we hold self-evident: Health Care is a Human Right

Current State of Affairs Inspires Action.
America is coming to the realization that the ACA was not the ‘ultimate’ solution to Universal Health Care. Many would like to see more work done to enable the ACA to better meet the need of our citizens,  others are working passionately to undo all of the positive benefits the ACA provided.

This important conversation is taking place in Florida which faces an aging population and has over a million uninsured poor people at a time when overwhelming numbers in our population suffer opioid addiction.

From Words to action: Moving from Debate to Providing Solutions.
While most folks in Florida are debating health care, Florida Media labs is calling on  leaders from across our great state to join the effort to provide solutions.

The Florida Health Care Summit leadership team is uniting a diverse group of  individuals, organizations, health care specialists, media experts and folks in and out of government to work together on the weekend of Friday, February 16 and Saturday, February 17, 2018 to create a road map for Universal Health Care.

The Florida Health Care Summit consists of eight distinct tracks, each consisting of a series of sessions that will provide attendees of the summit opportunities to plug in to a comprehensive action plan.    This plan is designed to mobilize the people of this state to put into place the human, community, media, and government resources necessary to ensure that every person in the state of Florida will have access to health care within twenty-four months.

More information about the Florida Health Care Summit and it’s tracks and sessions can be found on the organization’s website at
